To no
longer believe in the face that was
this poem
To
no longer hear the definitive
“no”
complimenting
all the yeses dressed like now
and then
in the
long-sleeved arm of contradiction
speaking
an almighty will
called
knowing
surely
nothingness
is to comprehend
how
winter’s snow
erases and
the fading
print like
yesterday’s
rabbit
has
disappeared
